How to Set Up My 4K Fire TV Stick
Takes only 10 Minutes
STEP 1 – Open the box and remove all contents as seen above.
STEP 2 – To power up the stick, you have TWO options. You can either connect the stick to the USB port on your TV or directly to the power source, power adapter is supplied in the box
STEP 3 – Locate the HDMI port on your TV. Remember that your TV could have more than one and any of them would work perfectly.
STEP 4 – Insert the Firestick into the HDMI port and connect the power cable to it either by using the USB port on your TV or directly to the wall.
STEP 5 – Using the TV remote, select the HDMI source where the Firestick is plugged to e.g HDMI1 or HDMI2
STEP 6 – Connect to your Internet either via LAN or WiFi. If you do not have home WiFi, you can simply share the hotspot on your mobile phone. That still works.
STEP 7 – Sign into your Amazon account (Same details as your Amazon Shopping Account)
STEP 7 – Your Firestick will go through a short series of updates to be ready
STEP 8 – All local apps will update and be ready to use. Your stick is now ready to use.
